Originally created by the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and retained in the recently enacted United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) the TN visa program is a unique solution for employers seeking to employ educated and experienced foreign professionals in skilled job positions.

  • There is no annual cap on the number of TN visas issued.
  • The TN visa program is limited to specific job categories.
  • Most categories require a college degree, professional certification, or license.
